Change or Stay?

How long does it take to eliminate or change a negative habit or behavior?

These behaviors are very powerful, especially if they become ingrained to the degree we’re not aware when we act. It’s even more powerful if the behavior is our default; the one we always fall back on when in crisis.

Personally, it can shorten relationships. Professionally, it can hinder your career as a leader.

Wouldn’t it be nice if you could change a behavior as quickly as you stopped eating at the restaurant, where you got food poisoning? The experience was so painful that you changed immediately.

The science says that it takes 64 days to create a new behavior.
